Wanpa-rda Matilda Outback Education Centre delivers programs aligned to Australian National Curriculum, covering key learning areas in Studies of Society and Environment, Science, Home Economics, Art, Drama, English and Technology.

Wanpa-rda is dedicated to delivering school camps with a focus on Australian History, Indigenous Australian History and survival techniques for the Australian outback environment.

Itineraries can be selected based on theme or tailored to suit the needs of your students.

The popular activities undertaken by schools allow students and teachers to experience a broad spectrum of what the outback has to offer, including survivalist activities which provide a fundamental base for those interested in Australian bushcraft and survival skills.  On offer are heritage themed activities which provide access to the rich history and culture of the outback and include authentic 'on-location' experiences.

Plus, what educational camp would be complete without archery, team building activities and a campfire nurtured from the friction of two sticks enjoying toasted marshmallows, whilst students reflect on their outback visit to "Australia's Biggest Classroom".
